Room 11 have been working very hard on their ANZAC spirit. They have been visiting the war memorials and making ANZAC biscuits these are some of the poems they have written about their wonderful biscuits.
Buttery, syrupy, sugary sweet Anzac biscuit smell shooting up my nose
Squishy, feeling like jagged rocks under the sea shore
Syrupy, oaty ,buttery, nutty sugary tastes slipping down wet throats,
Mmmms, crunches, gulps coming from people's mouths
Scrummy, terrific wonderful Anzac biscuits!

Golden brown masterpieces floating before my eyes
Solid oaty and warm smell wafts past my nose
Crusty, warm, soft , cracked and round running under my fingers
Oaty, floury strong and rough on my tongue
Sounds of enjoyment
Oaty ,warm, golden best thing ever Anzac Biscuits.
